talyo. manages 5,400 residential units in 2021, stays on course for growth in 2022

January 10th, 2022: talyo. Property Services received instructions on a total of 5,400 residential units throughout Germany in 2021. Providing a combined lettable area of around 230,000 square metres, the apartments are situated in 19 locations throughout Germany, including Berlin, Dusseldorf, Mainz and Munich.

3,800 of the units are in the traditional residential segment, with 1,600 apartments in the ‘micro living’ sector. The clients include Deutsche Asset One, Domicil and HanseMerkur Grundvermögen AG.

In response to the increasing volume of instructions across Germany last year, talyo opened offices in Leipzig and Nuremberg to complement its existing branches in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart. The continuing implementation and expansion of Promos SAP, including an in-house consultant, has been pursued systematically. During 2021, the company increased its staff from 20 to 60.

Martin Henke, managing director of talyo, comments: “The first year of our operations has been very successful and we have enjoyed an extremely positive market response. We intend to build on this in the coming months. The company is already anticipating further instructions in the first half of 2022, so we are planning to expand our office accommodation in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Nuremberg to create space for new staff.”

talyo. plans to expand its portfolio of properties under management to around 20 to 25,000 residential units throughout Germany by 2025. As well as traditional rental apartments, this will include apartments in the ‘Student housing’ and ‘Serviced apartments’ segments.
