October 13th, 2022: talyo. lets a further 100 residential units in the “MikroQuartier I” portfolio in September 2022.
The properties are owned by the Danish pension fund PFA and managed by investment manager Domicil Real Estate AG. Early in 2021, both companies instructed talyo to carry out the commercial and technical property management, together with lettings, and implementing a uniform management strategy.
At that time, the occupancy rate of the portfolio was approx. 73%. With the latest lettings, talyo has increased this to 90% occupancy, in only around one and a half years.
MikroQuartier I” comprises 13 residential properties, providing a total of around 1,500 units, in a lettable area of 42,000 square metres. The properties are situated in Berlin (1), Bonn (1), Dieburg (1), Hamburg (3), Hanover (1), Frankfurt a. M. (2), Cologne (2), Munich (1) and Weimar (1). They were built between 1925 and 2019, and the largest property in the portfolio is the “Hühnerposten” apartment building, with 353 apartments, in Hamburg.
Martin Henke, managing director of talyo, comments: “To have significantly increased the occupancy rate in the portfolio under our management within such a short period of time is a major success – but we are not going to rest on our laurels. Our goal is to fully let, as far as possible, 10 of the 13 residential properties entrusted to us for letting. This includes the ‘Hühnerposten’ at Hamburg Central Station.”
